Well no jetting ever worked and finally it ran worse and worse till I took it out and it wouldn't start. It will spark on the initial push of the button and if you keep cranking it, it will randomly spark.

I'd bet good money it's the hx3.

Ohm out your stator and kill switch. If they're good and you have a new coil that leaves you with a bad hx3.

That's a possibility I will swap out for a stock Cdi hopefully just get to ride the thing I contacted air time to see what's up. Maybe get it swapped for a new one idk
Yes that's an option too. Seems simpler but won't reveal if the issue is in the electric side of the set up or not, a stock CDi or an MSD enhancer is much more forgiving.
My MSD worked with my TBM flywheel but as soon as I installed the HX3 I had issues so that told me it must be the HX3 since ski was fine prior but after 2 months of being down that want the case, it was that flywheel. Chris at Airtime diag this.....
Are you the original purchaser within the 90 day exchange period?
I guess installing a stock CDi would help some though, if the issue still remains you got other issues too, if it does work you could ride but you still won't know if it's the HX3 or your set up.
If a stock CDi works in your ski and your HX3 works in my ski what's that reveal?

So I'll throw out a "hot sports opinion" but if you have a lower pitched prop laying around, try that.
I had a similar problem on a ski, it would bog bog bog until the pump cavitated enough for the impeller to let the motor wind up, then "whaaaaaa!!!!" The damn thing would launch.
I could be completely wrong, but that's the first thing I thought of when I read the symptoms.

Hx3 sent in for further testing. But the "jetting" issue transferred to my stock ski when I put the hx3 in it. So yeah it was the ignition.
