More late night after work fun.. Shooting for done ski by this Saturday.

Drilling moe hoes...bracket alignment done.



Pump alignment done...sure nice to see some parts installed lol



Bulkhead/midshaft housing alignment did. Needed two shims on top for perfect alignment

You should alway check midshaft alignment. I have had to shim all 5 a/m I have built, not one has leaked. The midshaft has a seal on the back side. No silicone, just grease.

What size roll of vinyl wrap did take to wrap ski? did you do complete bottom? intake tunnel?

Nothing on bottom, I'm sure that would just rip off. I don't remeber roll size. Was $36 and only used maybe half of it. Bought it off ebay.

I have used the 3m stuff on plastic side seat covers on a blaster, coupler covers, and a ebox's works really well!

Good job on the build Austin! looks great!

Pole mounted, cables ran, waterbox fitted, cooling lines/filters, bilge/auto bilge switch, ebox bracket, hood latch, bypass/bilge fittings, safety straps, motor mounts, engine alignment and some more turf work done. Getting close to final engine install !

Does the hood clear? My stock air box barely rubbed, so I heated it and bent it down 1/4 inch to clear.

We checked clearance on the battery, we have an inch or so of clearance there, I'll check the air box, can't hear anything hit when we stick the hood on.

I think pole is going to be perfect for a all around ski, if it's not, we plan on buying a xmetal pole.

Put something like a drop of paint or puddy on the airbox in a few locations, close the hood, start the ski and check. My hood made contact at one end so switched to flame arrestors. My hood had the rachet strap which made for less clearance. Just something for you to try if you get curious or see marks on your hood liner. Ski turned out great all said and done.

Yeah it was just the front side of the air box once the rubber 90 was on there. I never felt it but I could see where it was rubbing on my hood.

Pole length looks good for a rec boat, that's about where I had mine.

Went and rode at my friends lake house this weekend, good time, ski did perfect. Need to do some work to the footholds, other then that, ski is golden.
