Other Barnegat inlet riders, can anyone give info?

I want to take my ski down the surf, I used to go to corson's with my last skis but that's a long haul from where I live now so Barnegat is a good option, but I don't know the area, ramps, where to ride outside the inlet (is there any beaching areas?)

Can anyone help?

No beach area, there is one boat ramp

Where is the ramp in relation to the inlet? Does it cost a lot of money to use it? So from a stand up perspective is it a long way to and from land? Thanks for the help so far!

The ramp is $20 per ski, then you ride about 4 min. around the the bay, out the inlet, go around the lighthouse (to your right) and come around into the surf next to the jetty. stay away from the marsh grass and go slow leaving the ramp, they will write tickets.

The ramp is on bayview ave. and 10th st, you should look at a map so you know where island beach is, and stay away from it, again tickets.

Any of you guys by chance interested in riding on this upcoming friday? Is that 20 dollar fee an each time use fee, or like a permit for the ramp?
