Change the M jet from 147.5 to 150 and I am going to try a 155 next. Changed pilot from 120 to 125 and it is perfect. Only issue is she still doesn't really idle. Might idle for 10-15 seconds and then dies so need to play with that some more.

Something broke already too..

Getting fixed.

And what is better then a D? A Double D!

Have you played with the Idle ajuster at all? Also, you might have the cable too tight. You should be able to push it about have inch in towards the carb before opening in the butterfly. That pole is an interesting design...looks like a beast!

Why not bend the spring a bit to bring it down to the hood for ease of boarding

I am at 155 high and 125 low with my 46 carb btw.

Add throttle cable to the list of things to break.

It just pulls too hard...The throttle cable just couldn't take it.

couple more upgrades to add to the list. RN waterbox, and UMI quick steer with blowsion bearings and lock nut. I haven't ridden her yet since making the changes but I am looking forward to not having any slop in the steering.

Damn this jet ski is fun! Starting to think all this work might have been worth it. I even got her to idle. hose on the tank valve was pinched, and she needed more turns out on the pilot. Then again this weekend I was at 5k ft, it was rainy and in the high 60's / low 70's so who knows what it will be once I am back at 200ft and high 90's low 100's.. Going to have to start taking a biometric pressure gauge with me and taking notes.

So the tiny tach does not like msd enhancers, but I got it to work long enough to see a consistent 65xx rpms. Still can't get it to idle down here once the pump is in the water though... 140ft elevation 95ish degrees.

Change the pilot jet from 125 to 127.5, 2.5 turns out and she still wont idle. Hits hard though. Going to try a 130 pilot next. And @SVTPete83 was kind enough to let me borrow his Mikuni pop off tester so hopefully I can get this carb dialed
