l see what you’re saying and it makes sense.l just bought a AGM battery from Autozone for $89.ETX12 will last about 2.5 years,like the previous one.

With mulitple skis, and multiple motorcycles, I've gone threw a lot of batteries over the years. Also living in AZ with the heat, it kills batteries quick. That being said, the $40 amazon batteries have been performing as well as the $100 Yuasa's I used to run. They all last 2 years.

Any battery that isnt fully charged or dead and sits like that will be junk. Its critical batteries sit around fully charged. Doesnt matter the brand. Just my experiance anyways.

I got a tpe lithium battery for Daytona freeride because my wps exploded. The tpe didn’t last 3 days. Here is a pic of the one that exploded in my house

Those claim to be LI-FE so at least they won't burn your house down. Its probably too much work for the average jetskier but LI-PO has a lot more to offer performance wise. They just have a nasty tendency to burst into flames when mishandled.

Had great luck with scream power li fe batt. Avail on Amazon. Fits perfect in lim slip tank also

The only batteries I have ever seen go past a three year life cycle were Jetwerks batteries.
