Custom/Hybrid Battery options

I'm looking to use the Cold Fusion Micro battery box in my build and would like to know what my options are other than Ballistic and Anti Gravity if there are any. Are there any AGM batteries out there that might work?

The earthx batteries have been working great for a few of us. They're a little long for the cold fusion box, I just had to cut off the one tab on the long end of it, they fit perfect width wise.

Do you guys have these in the Cold Fusion Micro box. It looks like that battery is a little longer than the box.

I am running it in a WDK Envy and whatever battery hold downs came in the hull. Shorai offers 4 or 5 diff case sizes, cant see why you couldn't find one that fit.

I was running a lfx18a1-bs12 which was quite a bit smaller, but i ran the battery down while sorting out mechanical issues and it never quite got back up to full charge on the skis charging system. I bought the Shorai charger and attempted to hook the cable up with battery still in hull (buried in back right corner), didn't get the connector in there straight and bent one of the terminals into another terminal and it shorted and caught on fire. I replaced it with the bigger battery because I had the room and the extra lb wasn't a big deal.

I read through the literature that came with the battery and charger and you can leave the charger lead attached to the battery at all times, so I sealed up the charger lead and hooked it to battery and installed battery in ski. No the plug is easy access for when ski is in storage and i can plug it in a used the charger to maintain the battery.

Just looked up the cold fusion box and the lfx18a1-bs12 will fit, it has 210 CCA and was plenty of power for my ski, but i would recommend getting the charger just to keep it in good health and fully charged.

Thanks for the info. Im not super worried about weight but it does need to fit and it does need to turn my motor over. These are expensive so Im just tryin to get imput.

I have had a WPS in two sizes and I love them, no total loss, surf boats. I only charged each one once, before daytona. It had been -10 here and the electrons needed some motivation.
