Battery tender battery

Hey guys hope I’m in The right spot. Thinking of putting battery tender 360LCA in my 50cal. Anyone have any tips, experience so on. My motobatt is great but my ski leans sitting in the water. Be nice to shave some weight and balance the ski better. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Mount it high to keep water off of it. Seal up the seam on the sides and around the terminals. Disconnect it from ski when not riding. Keep it charged. Don't use it with a charging ignition.

There's a Deka 9 extended life version that has more plates and is a quality fairly light agm battery. I use this with total loss and it holds up strong. A friend of mine uses his in a surf ski too.
