I just got a 36,000 LB tow strap for christmas .I havent dynode my truck since I got a new turbo and new tune but I'm sure I'm pushing over 500 HP so I would LOVE to yank someone out if they get stuck. The funny thing is it only get 13 mpg ,its going to take me 100 gal. to get there, and diesel still aint cheap.

You probably can keep that new tow strap in the package. The beach patrol pulls out LOTS of stuck folks all day long. At least they did in past years...

Hey Slutty, is the beach still in pretty good shape at high tide?

Note tow rope on back of truck :burnout:.

What about 50's , 4 wheeler or golf carts are they prohibited my buddy is wanting all of us from OKC to bring our 50's but I was thinking it just one more thing to have to worry about.

What if i just bought one of my skis and haven't got it registered yet? Can i just bring the bill of sale to prove that?

mmmm....good question, but remember..youre not dealing with the DMV.....youre dealing with BEACH PATROL

It is there job to fill out paperwork on properly registered ski's...It is NOT there job to understand registration laws, grace periods 30 days for this 30 days for that.....

You walk up to beach patrol with a BS bill of sale and try to give him a story, and there are 30 peeps behind you with proper registration, guess whats going to happen?

And if its the same girl from last year, she was a hard ass...SHe checked my #'s, reggie, extinguisher..everything...and I am local!

i got $20 for anyone with a 4x4 that could help pull my lowrider 2rwd truck out if i get stuck.

just in case! :haha:

anyone got the vid of butti pulling out the sclade??

i guess that means a friday afternoon safety meeting to discuss the tides:barrel:

do we have to wait until friday night?

I dont think there will be any shortage of 4x4's either

besides, someone has to be there to pull Stoyer onto and off the beach!!!

Absolutely none of that is allowed on the beach unless you rent it directly from one of the licensed beach vendors that rent them out. Don't f it up for the rest of the group by trying to be sneaky about it. A couple of people have played with 50's in the motel parking lot before, but several people with 50's isn't going to fly.

Cant you just apply for homebuilt boat HIN #'s? I did the samething in NJ, and had hin #'s in one week.

http://www.boatingbasicsonline.com/course/boating/4_1.php?new_state=TN

"All homemade boats built in Tennessee must be issued a HIN. An application for a new HIN may be obtained by contacting the TWRA at Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Boating Division, Ellington Agricultural Center, P.O. Box 40747, Nashville, TN 37204."

"Take any receipts from the materials used to build the boat to a Tennessee county clerk's office. The clerk will determine if taxes need to be collected. Then the clerk will provide the boat owner a certified application to fill out and mail to TWRA for registration.
The owner keeps the yellow copy of the application for a temporary operating permit."
