Beach stands, what's out there now?

Are the only options AC or homemade? Just thinking for the future. I like the idea of a foldable one to fit in smaller vehicles rather than a pvc one.

2" PVC for me with turf on the rails. Light cheap easy to store and if it goes missing no big deal. I build mine I am guessing about 8" tall.

There are a few brands out there. I think they all are around $110 or so. I have a steel homemade fold up and a aluminum fold up I bought. Both work fine.

I used my taller shop stand on Lake Michigan this past September. I removed the wheels. It worked very well because Lake Michigan drops off faster than the ocean. You can keep your ski another five feet out in the water, and it's still won't be touched by waves, etc.

My stand looks like something made from exhaust tubing(bent and 2.5"), probably made by a car mechanic. Acquired it with one of my 550s.
