FX-1 Bendix and flywheel cover options?

My bendix is slowly going out and while it seems to have some life left in it Id rather have a bendix that spins up every time instead of 80%.
Are there many options that arent terribly expensive? Last I looked a new OEM bendix was pretty high priced. Should I try and "refurbish" mine a bit?

Also are there any relatively cheap flywheel covers that use reusable o-rings or gaskets? Ive had to take mine off a couple times and the gasket gets pretty annoying to work with. Im probably going to have the cover off one or two more times with the bendix issues and maybe a lighter flywheel soon.

I dont really have a budget, but Im trying to save up for a B-pipe this year so the more I spend the less likely that is.

I bought a brand NEW OEM Bendix from JetManiac. He had a blow out some for a fraction of the OEM price. Im not sure if the deal still applies, it's worth contacting him and seeing. I too had similar issues and replaced mine when I replaced the starter. I've bought uses ones before and they are hit or miss. I didn't want to risk it and go though all the trouble of removing everything to find it was a bad unit.

Not sure about the o-ring flywheel cover, not any that I know of.

I saw that JetManiac was selling used and tested bendixs but I didnt see that he had new ones. Ill have to hit him up soon and find out.

I believe Cold Fusion sells a billet cover that uses a reusable oring, I havent looked into it much though. I wasnt sure if there was an already popular option of if its not a very popular option

Yep, I do a couple versions of billet F/W covers with orings for the Yamahas and Kawis.

I have a Lexan window available as well.

Thanks for the mention Burton

Uh, no offense but you suck.......hahah

brians flywheel covers are amazing. I didn't even know he had a website and still bought a couple and am about to order another here soon. Basically look at his avatar and it does no justice to seeing it in person. Order it now...Done!

What I meant about the website sucking is that I cant seem to find info on the products. I see a few pics but nothing on pricing, availability, or ordering.
3 of the 4 links go to the same page.

Uh, no offense but your website sucks. Where can I get some more info on the FW covers?

Website is sh yt no doubt, working on that now, sorry. You could use a teaspoon of sugar with your comments though, but I understand.

There is better info on the FB page as well as several pictures.
