Im gonna fo rent a puller. Hope its pretty easy. I already got flywheel cover off. I take it , putting it back on is simple enough? Do i need greece or any thing befor i slap it in there? Also, its notable that my broken bendix shifts a bit to the left and right and back and forward. the left and right movement is normal right?
Its 15$ to buy your own puller. Wish i had your kinda time to be doing things twice and taking all those tripa to the store.

Can someone explain what im looking at in terms of how to pull this to get the bendix off on the right. Do i neex a claw type puller? And i take it i take a big wrench to take off the middle portion?

Im looking up kawasaki flywheel pullers, and im just seeing a bolt. Is that easentially it? Can someone link me one that i can buy? And as far as the bolt in the middle.. Im really struggling to get that off. Any tips? And its not reverse threaded is it?

Yes, the puller looks like a "bolt", you'll see the female threads in the flywheel after you remove the screw. It is normal right hand thread. Hold the flats on the flywheel with a wrench and then loosen the f/w bolt (about 50 ft/lbs). The f/w may take a bit of effort to pull, when you think you cannot safely tighten the puller screw anymore, hold onto the f/w and hit the hex end of that screw with a min. 2lbs hammer once or twice. That will sometimes scare the f/w and lets it jump off. When you reinstall, keep in mind that the f/w locks onto the taper, that area must be grease free!
