What motor? If its a yamaha, i would almost bet its not bent. I have hydro-lock/sank my RN about 6 times or so, get the water out and run it. My still runs great.

after it locked up i blew out the water and got it fired. ran it for about 20 mins was 100% ---> slight bog ----> 3 minutes later barely running enough to keep me from getting plowed by hundreds of boats. at first is was a bog then turned to clunking

cranked the starter like 10 + times

we def lost compression so id hate to bore it and have it go out again because the rod is outta whack

Pull the engine cover, make sure there is no water on your Stator. You may want to dump your Fuel tank, Water in the Fuel would cause the Conditions you Describe.

Has the base gasket blew between the 2 ? Looks like it had spit out.

will do. the head domes and piston tops were pretty wet. even a bit of liquid in the bottom of the cases - couldnt really tell if it was water or fuel. Ill dry everything and do a comp test / fire this evening
