Best battery for power plus weight?

I tried to search and found some info but maybe you X-h20 guru's can help! What is the lightest battery that can make it through a day of riding. I have a Q8 with TL. It looks like mixed reviews on the shorai. Any info/reviews/links would be appreciated.
Thanks

Ok I read all 22 pages -

Not crazy there is a chance of a li poly or li fe battery burning my ski or my house down, as much as I would like to save 10lbs...

cant seem to find the weight and specs on the Jetworks or odyssey

anyone running the kb35xc want to let me know their thoughts?

The Ballistic battery is not the same type of battery as a lithium computer battery and will not catch fire . The catch on fire thing is a myth .

I'm about to be in the market for another LiFePo battery, but I'll give the Ballistic 12 or 16 cell a try this time around. The terminals on the Shorai were a bit flimsy.

Matt try the ballistic, you won't be disappointed! PM me and I'll give you the contact information for the president of ballistic batteries.

I think the 12cell will be more than enough for your total loss

i plan on running a Ballistic 16 cell on my new setup (xs1200 / total loss).

this is what Pat Bogart was running on his machine when i was down there visiting and we were at the lake all afternoon.

TONS of start / stops, and even an instance where the motor took on a bit of water and the plugs had to be pulled out and motor cranked quite a bit to clear it all out.

after getting it cleared out, tons of more riding / start / stops.

hardly a voltage drop after once back on the charger.

I AM A BELIEVER!

Try the Braille G9. Very light and compact. Have used a few of them now, and am waiting for a few more to arrive.

Went to ballisticbatteries.com and can't find the 12 or 16 cell. Anyone have specs and a good place to purchase.
Somewhere in the other thread someone posted a ballistic did catch fire, or maybe a shorai. I guess just don't leave it unattended while charging.
Thanks again!

Its www.ballisticparts.com

It won't light on fire, but it could start start smoking if you over charge it. But that's your own fault if you can't follow the simple charging instructions. If you buy there charger you don't have to worry about that
