I may take my spare small pin cylinder and send it out for sleeves, porting, and pistons. Lets hear the best combination thats the most cost effective way to do this, and leave a bore or 2 in there for the future. Also personal reccomendations as to who does good work, I can tell you I have had some issues with a shop in Cali..:nono:

I deal a lot with Chris Newmiller. If you call him and explain what you are looking for, he will blueprint your engine the way you want it to run.
Tell him John - Jet Ski Haven sent you.
Chris Newmiller phone number541-396-6798 He is in Organ so bear that in mind for time zone change when you call.

I am building two PJS 850's and I will be sending them to Chris Newmiller to have them blueprinted.
One of these is sold to a X2 owner in Fl. for the surf.
I have about 15 of these that I will be building this winter.
Call me somtime next week for some of the low down.

I had Group K port a 750 SS cylinder, deck the cylinder, mill a 750 head, nozzle boring, mod a 759 single manifold for a Keihin 42, and machine the 750 SS cases for a 650 stator about 5 years ago. Well after it seized they were well let's say far less han helpful in diagonising my problem. Left a bad taste in my mouth so I won't use them again. I know another member on here had a similar experience.

Pete used Rober Sand aka Jet Ski Mechanic for his first 800+ cc X2 build. You will have to ask him his opinions on the work. I know he had new sleeves put in that engine.

Me, I am still depating on who will build my next big bore 750 engine. I know Top End performance used to do all of Kawasaki's race SXi Pro engines. I want a freestyle motor though.

Anyone is welcome to ride my 840 in Daytona. The guy that made it is an ex- team yamaha factory motocross wrench. He has an impressive resume and a more impressive shop, which includes a flow bench but no dyno yet...His prices are very fair and he can do anything. He can make a stroker for you. He rebuilt, trued, and welded a coupe of my cranks and told me it would be about $1100 for a stroker if I wanted one. He is also 15 minutes from me so it is easy to go nudge him for you when needed since every machine shop seems to loose focus when the work load gets to high.

this winter I'm going to look for some bottom end in my big pin 750...it runs fine but I think there should be more...with the factory pipe and blaster chamber and sxr carbs ..maybe some porting and a big bore...

I'm running the 750 electronics...with the advance plate...I was thinking a msd enhancer...but with that msd recommends running the retard modual that actually lowers the total advance...so how knows...I have a couple of cylinders to try...and some porting to test..if any one has squeezed some lowend out of the big pin let me know...

Damn, thats cool! How much stroke would it be? Oem rods?

Seems to me like you could build a Bad A$$ Kawi Motor for very reasonable.

Even Just a 4mm stroke, and your at a +10mm 701.... or stock 66E

Is kawasaki the future of Freestyle? :Eyecrazy:

im also trying to work out wot im going to do when i build my new motor next month . it will atleast 840cc but am thinking about a 5mm stroker crank as well , i wont to find out wot the best way is to do it and who i can get to port it to suit which is the tricky bit here in new zealand not many rngine porters here
