The name Frankenstein is a popular term for mismatched engine components such as a 61X case with a 760 cylinder on top. This looks like an inexpensive way to make a bigger displacement engine with power valves if it's not to much trouble with the machine work.
Is the base bolt pattern the same on the Sea-Doo cylinder and Kawi cases?
Did you happen to check the port timing on the engine you built?
The reason I ask is because if the Sea-Doo stock 951 engine uses 140mm length rods with a 78.2mm stroke you would think there wouldn't be any need for a spacer plate with 133mm Kawi rods and a 74mm or 76mm stroke?
Hallo 0#,
stock kawirods......cylinderhousing shortened arond the sleeves.
Basebold nearly the same, buy only nearly.
I screwed and glued the spacer with new treats on the case and bored seadootreads in the spacer.......will see how long it works
