Other Best day on the snow in a long time

Kirkwood received a reported 17" last night, so me and my son went up and hit it up today.

Best damm powder day in forever for me! Steep, deep ass powder runs!! I really screwed the pooch on camera stuff though... Didn't bring the GoPro, and only took one pic with the phone.

My son was taking a leak bottom left in pic. We traversed further left into some very nice chutes this am.

Can't wait for another day like today. Had a few nice face shots, nice little old guy drops and rollers, wicked fast open lines... Still so stoked. And my son is really progressing fast, he killed today. So nice having someone that shares the same love for the snow and terrain. Funny thing, I was more stoked watching him, than my own riding lol!

Hunkered down in Kirkwood for a month in 95 and got dumped the whole month. Such a sweet place to ride. Totally envious. Ive been looking at your pic and cant figure out where you are? looks like chair 4ish? top front ridge?

Chair 6 over by Centinal Bowl. Super fun mountain. I've been riding heavenly a lot, but Kirkwood is WAY better when there's powder. But now our passes are good Kirkwood too.
Man I'd love to be snowed in there for a few days.
