Freestyle Best exhaust choice for 8mil 862

The money tree is about to bloom and Im doing my home work on an exhaust. I have a LPW DASA 8 mil 862. The carbs are already set up for a b pipe, and Im not the best at tuning. Do I stay with a b pipe, get a wet carbon chamber similar to the power factor chamber, or just go all out and get a power factor? I want to get the most out of my motor, but at the same time I dont want to spend the summer tuning. Im running dual 46 minkuni type r sbns, and total loss.

Hi Brian,
Go all out! You've got some pretty cool bits there, the right pipe will unleash it's full potential.
We have used both modified B-pipes & Power Factor pipes on an 8mm Dasa back to back.
If you want the most out of the 8mm then the best choice is the Power Factor.
Turned the motor into something very special, helps if you have TL, which you already have.
Sounds great too, use the waterbox not the resonator.
You will need someone that is experienced in tuning to set it up for you, but will be well worth the small investment, I cant understand why people are so keen to spend heaps of bucks on performance parts, but not invest a small amount with a Tuner to ensure everything works to it's full potential & is running safe.

Well, Im ready to buy a PF pipe, I decided this is the only way to do it and get the most out of my investment. Now the question is who do I order from? I had conversations with both Thrust and X Scream, they were both very helpful and seem like either one will get me a starting point getting it set up. Anyone have any feedback on who will offer the best support after I buy from them? This is equally important to me.

I'd stick with Thrust, they have there hands in DASA motors more so than XS. Both woud be good but if I had to pick between the two thats what I would choose.

Does anyone have them in stock yet?

Carbon Blaster is right. People will spend tons of money on parts and not a dime to someone who can tune it. I don't understand it. These guys always have a buddy who can tune. Find someone who tunes and pay them, then you'll find the power and responce you were looking for. There are no magic jetting spec's only starting points. Water routing, pump setup, boat/rider weight, compression, exhaust routing and more all have effects on jetting.

There is nobody around here. Unless someone near the northeast Pennsylvania area cares to chime in and offer some help. Ill drive 5-6 hours to have it set up if need be.
