Freestyle best finger throttle for freestyle/surf riding

I just swapped out a sharkfab throttle for a Wamiltons one and like it a whole lot better but the contours are still a bit sharp for my taste. I have a new PJS on the shelf left over from my seadoo days but have not tried it on the standup in the surf yet.

My first SN had a nice little stubby finger throttle that was sloppy but very comfortable. Munki63 owns it now so he is going to send to back to me someday if he can find it so I can figure out what it was and maybe put some bushings in it.

It's all preference. I hate angled and ones with a sharp bend/hook to them. Had a KPVI (?) that had sharp edges too that rubbed my finger raw.

Whatever you do I'd at least make sure it's not the type that you have to remove the grips to take off. Anyone that has run the ODI grips in salt knows they don't come off once they been on for awhile.

xmetal too sharp
blowsion too long and far away
KVPI looks like cheap crap
never seen a sharkfab, dont like the looks
all UMI's become angled over time..
PJS is comfortable, but I dont like the mount
TBM is nice, dont like the mount either
stock works good

IMO a throttle should be smooth around the bars, no raised ridges..and the end should be blunt...why hang a sharp angled knife off the bars?

that being said, Sato Engineering (SE) are my fav.......I have one old style, and a bunch of the new style....

Punk, I take your challenge...my old SE is worn the F out but Ill never give it up

I have been looking for an older SE one ever since I rode your REV with it. So smooth and rounded.

The sharkfab are way too long and too far of a reach from the bar, great for people with super long fingers maybe but horrible for the rest of us.

Ive never seen another one......I actually sold it with a ski a few years ago, then tracked the kid down 6 months later to buy it back lol.....

I agree the Sato Engineering throttle lever worked well without all the sharp edges but I believe it only came in silver and blue colors.

the new style silver, blue and black......old ones Ive only seen my silver one

here's a pic of a new style vs.old style....(new style on the left)
