My LPW ported motor is absolutely perfect for freeriding... I love the power delivery...

Howzit buddy!!! Hows the freeriding down there goin? I wouldhv bn down there but we have a few demos up here now,but il def be ridin with ya next year at the agulhas tour,hope to c ya sooner rather than later....

Ur question: heads,pipe,impeller,rideplate,porting,760cc msdenhancer,REINFORCING,reeds,engine straps.....anything else is overkill I think.

I was afraid to do anything to the motor for the frist two years that I rode. I only used bolt on parts. Finally I acquired enough parts to be able to start cutting without worrying about being stuck without a motor.

I think you'll get a ton of different yet equally valid opinions here.

More power costs more money and to one extent or another sacrifices reliability, but . . . I've never thought it wasn't worth it and I've blown my share of motors.

However, power is no substitute for practice. You can't buy skill.

Well, this sucks. Now you tell me at least I havent refinanced the house yet.

JSU makes awesome freeride motors. Watcon built my 760, awesome power and built to my riding style.

no kidding, I probably have the weakest motor of all my riding buddies and I still don't feel like I need more power.

Freeriding going very well down here! Waves have just been a bit NON EXISTANT!! You need to make a plan and come visit with that new ski of yours before christmas!!

As for my motor... i pretty much have exactly that setup on both my SJ and WB...except that my WB just blew up!!....and did a really good job of it!! Stuffed up everything! Happened mid air in a big nose stab! a week before that my my whole pump packed up! geesh!!!:banghead: :banghead:

One good thing about the whole thing is that i have ended up spending more time on my SJ.... and LOVING it!!!!!:biggthumpup:
