My new (to me) cylinder is at 86.0mm and I want it to last as long as possible. I'm currently running Klotz R50 on the recommendation of a respected tuner, and so far so good. Anyone have a better recommendation as far as protection/minimal wear?

What about equivilent protection at a better price?

Ski is used for freeriding in salt water, and occasionally sees a blast up to top speed across the bay. I do beat on it pretty hard sometimes.:afro:

I have been running Klotz as long as I can remember. I had a cylinder with at least 100 hours on it and the hone marks looked fresh. Good oil is worth the little extra I feel it saves you money in the long run with longer piston, cylinder and crank life. Plus with Klotz you get that Klotz smell.

if you were rec'd R50 by a respected tuner (im guessing either paul or chuckie), then why are you second guessing?

Dumonde tech.

Dumonde Tech is an excellent choice, and is one of my personal favorites. The problem is shipping logistics.. I will "drop ship" Klotz anywhere in the USA, and I have a difficult time with the smaller brand name recognition. If you have access to Dumonde Tech, use it..

Great stuff, CPR has been selling it as well as the dealers in the NW, is it made here or just distributed out of Kirkland?

id run either klotz r-50, or benol, the benol is a little gummier but there is virtually no wear on a motor with its use, BTW anybody who wants to run and or buy klotz, pm me i am a klotz dealer and will give you good prices
