This ski is going to remain stock enginewise. I'm going to do ride plate, intake grate and prop.

what would be the best prop to get?

thanks

Since you are keeping it stock, the stock impeller is a good prop. Otherwise the Impros Hooker 9/15 is the prop most go with. Plus it will work great with future engine mods.

Not only is it stainless, but it also incorporates a few other improvements that make it quite similar to the Hooker props that everyone runs these days.

It is actually quite a desirable prop and worth sticking with.

Good news! looks like I will just pick up a handlepole spring a and ride. When I say stay stay stock, really the only thing I won't do is pipe it. what is with this site and shockwave constantly crashing??

Why are you adverse to a pipe? A limited 'B' pipe is almost maintenance-free and will give a solid boost in performance. The stocker is a shocker and just stifles the potential performance of the stock motor.

Any other pipe/motor combo and I would agree with your earlier statement. However, I would not hesitate to run a b-pipe on a Yamaha 701. It's a proven platform with absolutely no downside.

I am ready to buy an intake grate now. What is a good one? they all look about the same. Blowsion has their own and Jet Dynamics. I have the JD on my FX and it is good.
