Hey Flyian, I live down from Buford and will have my 550SX and 650SX with some buoys set up at Llittle Ridge this Sat. Your more than welcome to try either... I am 6'2 245 and enjoy both... Course will be set up around 830-900 and probally broken down by noon with Labor Day goons and all...:Flush:

If you want that low end grunt to pull you out of the water, SJ for sure
But a 550 or 650 kawi can be fun too... I rode JS550's for years, very easy to ride and balance compared to a SJ
After riding 550's forever I got on a SJ and couldn't barely ride the darn thing, its like riding on a knife blade compared to the 550's
Either way, you are going to have to ride a lot before you know if riding a stand up is for you, you cant just go out 1 or 2 weekends and call it quits. You need a decent amount of practice before you can make a informed decision

Btw,
My x2.. I had it for 5 years. And i still have it. I just builded it up correct and i NEVER had any problems with it NEVER. It stands outside 365 days snow, ice e.c. In the summer i crank it and it goes !
i took it apart to rebluid the drive true hull bearing and the engine still is in good condittion. The e-box was full of white crap but it ran!
I am cleaning it al up and my x2 will be ready to go again :smashfreakB:

Drive 3hrs to Aiken and snap up this little gem before somebody else does. It's a steal at $5K and would be worth every penny it put you over budget.
