Best location for bilge in SXR?

I installed my limiting rope, block off and duckbill today. Now I am looking for a good spot to put the bilge, but man it is tight in that SXR compartment! Where are you SXR owners putting the bilge? The only place I can see that would be feasible is off center near the gas tank, and then run the line to the port side and place the exit fitting out the hull on that side too, a little distance from the pisser. Sound good? Or do any of you other guys have a better spot....

I put mine right in front of the factory suction bilge. Shoot me a PM if you're interested in one. I went to a dual so I no longer need the Blowsion single blige mount. It screws into the factory bilge holes and keeps the bilge right on the bottom of the hull.

depends on what style of riding. freestyle I would ditch the stock bilge and put a elec. bilge up front and use a scupper valve for the rear

Subn' did your take out all the stock bilge? How much weight is that?

I just strapped mine down where the toolkit goes...I have a scupper too!

I ground down the stock bilge. It is gone.

removing the stock bilges is very little weight but it all adds up. You can use the bulkhead fitting for the stock bilge to put a second cooling line!

I have a dumpvalve too. Who well did just strapping the pump down where the toolkit goes work? Ever have any issues with it comming loose?

It hasn't moved and I have had it there since 2003. I glued a piece of turf under it so it doesn't get banged around much. My pump is a little taller than most. Rulemate 1100 GPH.... do a search. Best pumps ever made... don't even need a switch.

Im soo trying it!!! How much does it interfere with your dump valve.
