300/440/550 Best Pipe for a Js550

Get a closed course port, factory half pipe. 15.5 skat, dual 38s, milled head, and a water box. Tack a quick steer and an ocean pro nozzle. Call it a day. :)

Half Pipes work great for your set up... The drier the better. Best Bang for your buck is the Stock Breadbox with the dry out mod. On the front inside of the box is a fitting. Remove fitting and put on an brass outlet - run to a pisser. Ski will ride a lot crisper...

Do you have a picture or something of the dry mod?

Anyone have any input on a full pjs exhaust system for the pp engine? I also want to go high compression with a/m waterbox and bored nozzle

Anybody have anything to say about the pjs full pipe with the old 550 mani that will accept the full pipe. I have a deal on one and want to know if it's worth it. Also, I am porting everything so there's that. Any gains? Also, hc head, 17 pitch impeller, bored nozzle, and a waterbox. What numbers can I expect?

If you're going to port and put a high compression head you have a good chance to tear that stock crank up. Find a good 440 crank they're much stronger. When you ask what kind of number should you expect.. Compression? HP? Top speed?

All 3 numbers. And I want to know as well with the 17 pitch if it will suck coming put of the hole. Thanks!

Depends on altitude and many other things. Compression is dependent on your domes on your head. You can read them off and we can see what cc domes they are. HP and top speed will also be dependent on your impeller and what kind of port you have done. Just gps it when you get it running.

Sweet thanks! Is a pjs 17 pitch impeller a little too much? I don't know a lot about the pumps and how they work on this thing

Also, the next time I ride this thing is like 5 months. Haha I can't wait that long to find out what this beast is pullin! Anybody have a ballpark figure to throw out?

Nope. The ol' 5 fiddy pump. I got a killer deal on a 16 pitch (thanks, missionbayskier) and the bittom end is meh, but i absolutley love the top end
