Best place on the Westcoast to Ski

Ok...Let me start off by saying I can move anywhere in the Pacific time zone. So where can I move where the weather is perfect, the water is clear..and 2strokes are accepted. Good schools. The ability to live on the water or within 5 minutes.

Any suggestions besides California...no offense.

Really fun place to ride as long as you can find work more of retirement or snowbird area I live in Las Vegas and travel there quite often to ride. The local lake banned 2 strokes but we still ride :)

i guess without Cali being in the equation you might as well check the atlantic.... no offense (considering ALL of the stipulations)

Yeah, it doesn't really matter where you live on the west coast if you take California out of the equation. In general, you can ride year round as long as you're at sea level and in central or Southern California. California is honestly the best thing on the west coast you'll have. You have the local DJSB around central california if you're into racing. Plenty of lakes around the central valley. My favorite lake being East Park Res, then Camp Far West a close 2nd. You have the best surf conditions for skiing known in the US in Oceanside down south (Opinion). Pismo beach is damn awesome too for surf. You're a days drive away from Lake havasu for world finals. Reno, nevada has a yearly competition. Prime spot for a mix of everything: Bay Area. Prime spot for surf: San Diego or LA.

where in the heck are two strokes banned in so cal? thats news to me unless your talking about non recreational lakes like DVL. AZ has some +'s for sure, but to call anything other than california "westcoast" is a joke. AZ gets lumped in with utah, new mexico, and texas, as the "southwest" Oregon and washington are "pacific north west"

OP: I believe the place you are describing is called La Jolla, CA
Probably the highest quality of life in the country. The best weather, excellent schools, and so much to do down there...
