As the title says where is the best place to put a bilge pump in a Blaster? Aft of the firewall under the battery box or forward of the firewall behind the motor?

Forward, get one of the brackets that uses the mid shaft housing bolts & it sits perfectly:

I ran the hose thru the firewall & put the outlet back by the boarding handles, gives you the room to put an air gap in it.
A great tip I read somewhere - once you put the basket in the bracket then the pump in the basket, circle a zip tie under the clips & it will lock them so the pump can never jump out on a hard landing.

Will those brackets work with the new Rule 25DA pump? I just noticed some people put them in front of the firewall and some put them behind it. Didn't know what's best.

I would get a bracket & use old style pump, lowest point of the hull is below midshaft & there are holes in firewall for water to run thru.
