Best pole for SXR ? Input needed

Thanks The looks are not as important to me as the durability and function.
I like the Aura too , not sure if the length is adjustable?
I definitely want an adjustable pole

Wow 3 seasons on a stock pole!?
I'm just learning to ride really
more like one and a half but not really I bought it last summer and it broke the last week of June so it's more like one.
Where did you get 3yrs from? I had a SJ for 3 seasons and got tired of floundering around on it.
One ride on a friends SXR and I had to have one. What's your thoughts on a replacement?

I've run AC sj pole and a cast RRP. I really like the cast RRP and have run that for last 6 season with no problems. I'm also using TBM steering and would like to try to over pivot steering

I just installed a Blowsion pole on a 2014 SJ for a guy who lives on a pond and just runs bueys all day. With the stiffer blowsion pole spring the pole is perfectly balanced. Wherever you let go of the pole it stays there but moves up and down real smooth. Pole comes with bushings for both SXR and SJ for use with your stock pole bracket.

The arua is fully adjustable not only in length but the angle of the top plate that the steering mounts to. Very slick.

I've had my Blowsion pole for over a year and it's fantastic and looks awesome. Really smooth operation and it's built real rugged.

I just saw "few seasons" and was like wow! Back in 99 I got 1 week on my new SXI Pro!

I guess I'll go with the Blosion or the RR Just need to confirm the details of what I need for the steering on either one.
Not sure about what I need for the handlebars on the blosion vs the RR and to be sure if I can use my stock mount or not.
On the blosion site it says I need fat bars with the over pivot steering and then it looks like I need to get another special clamp with it?
or will it work with what the supply in their kit? I guess I have to call them to sort out the details. Jut don't want to start this with half of what I need.

All who responded, Thanks for the input

It would be really cool if I could view how different colors looked on a black and green ski. I saw a graphics site like that somewhere.

The blowsion pole works with the stock pole bracket and comes with the correct bushings. You'll need fatbars , chinpad , grips , finger throttle and the better pole spring. If you use the stock pole spring youll have to find a way to hold the pole up while you pull the hood off and on. That's all you'll need. Oh , and the steering system. OVP.

So I got the Blowsion pole and it is soooooo much better, I rode Saturday and it felt like I gained 5yrs experience. Big difference , it made a good handling ski into a Great handling ski. Picture my ski in post #32 First time posting a picture here and I couldn't seem to type after uploading it.

Great product I only wish there weren't so many surprises during the install.
Anyone buying a Blowsion handle pole for the SXR should know:
1. You have to cut the spring that they send you if you want to use it.
2. You must cut about 1/4 inch off of your steering cable if you want your bars aligned.
3. You must remove the rubber bumper that sits just in front of the pole if you want to pull it down all the way.
4. You should remove the stock holder that allows you to prop the stock pole up. Or hack and trim it also so you can pull the pole down.
5. One other thing, the bushings were really tight or a little too large for my stock bracket so I made a wooden wedge and spread mine a little by beating that in and I put the bottom section in the freezer attempting to shrink it. I got it in without any damage. I could have just trimmed the bushings but did not want to chance making them crooked or too small.

It would be a much smoother installation knowing these things before starting.
So who-ever is interested, now you know it's not as simple as the directions make it look.
The directions are great for the pole and components but it would be helpful to know these things for installation on that specific ski.

In the end, I'm very glad I purchased this pole and the components it really transformed my ski. I had no idea what a difference it would make.
And it looks good too!
