Super Jet best ride plate and intake grate on brand new superjet

hey guys i have a brand new superjet! i was wondering what would be the best intake grate and ride plate for it? so if you could shoot me some ideas that would be great! thanx

Whats the best way to D-cut the plate? I did a hack job on my old sxr and dont want to foul this one up. I tried to find a machine shop and none around me would even touch it. Cut the plate flush then D it a little or just do a good size D-cut?

From the center, measure 3 inches left and right and 3 inches forward. I called the first machine shop i found and they did it for $15. Just tell them you have a piece of aluminum you want a semi circle cut out of

is it important to cut three inches on all sides or can you just buy one?

Depends on what you want out of it. The D cut from what I hear is going to make it ride more nose up. If you go with a longer plate it will keep that nose down more.

Since you have a 2012, use the worx 228 or the Skat stainless grate. I'd say ride it with the stock rideplate for now.
