Best Ride Plate for the 2008+ (e.g. 2019) 2-Stroke Super Jet ?

+1 you need to know what kind of riding you are going for. If you are racing, there is no one size fits all conditions. Sometimes you need more nose pressure, sometimes you don't. Pump nozzle tuning, intake grate, and rideplate all play a part.

I think I will do one thing at a time.
Change out pole first.
Then install pipe.
I will come back to changing intake grate and ride plate again after that.

All a ride plate can do is add or subtract lift at the rear, and it can only add directional stability over stock if it has scallops or skegs. Old Superjets turn flat and are easy to ride with lots of nozzle angle and a flat plate. A 750sx turns on edge and is easier to control leaned over with lots of stability at the plate and less nozzle angle. If you struggle with porpoising a longer plate may help . I have added fins to the bottom of a stock plate for cheap experimentation.

Thanks BK. But now I am confused. I was told just the opposite.

Why do handling before power?
you can add all the power in the world, but If the ski will not hook up then what is the point........ A Stock Superjet intake grate is about worthless. Give me a Stock SJ with 0 Degree bars and good grips, An Intake Grate and Ride Plate, I can ride that ski for a long time and be happy. Give me the same ski with stock bars, grate, plate and a Pipe, Head, Prop.......... Well, Ski is going to ride like crap, it will have cavitation at every hard turn, handling will be slippery.............
