When i took my engine out i suddenly realized i had a broken motor mount...FML... just like my last superjet, so now im done with getting stock pos motor mounts that seem to break on me. What are some am motor mount options, I know of Wamiltons and cold fusion but what are some others out there that are good quality? price is not an option (i will narrow down what i can afford on my own) although most are within the same price range.

I like this lifetime guarantee you speak of! I will for sure look into this Rhaas company. I also hear people run the couch mounts because they are thicker or something larger with diameter and stuff, but i had good luck with wamiltons mounts just looking for other alternatives as well.

I heard that after market mounts cause different engine dampening that causes troubles with idle speed and tuning. And they also remove a fail point for a $30 mount replacement vs inserts ripping out

I vote couch mounts for the price. It's hard to beat a lifetime replacement warranty though, and the Rhaas guys and cold fusion guys are both stand-up dudes (pun intended).

Save your money, go with couch mounts. Not saying the others aren't good products but why spend $150 when $40 will get the job done.

I ran a set of couch mounts for a while in my Superjet, and in my Rok. The only issue I had with them, was that they seemed to flex too much, at least once anyway. Not sure when it happened, whether it was a pancaked flip, side smash or just hard flat landing but my Rok hull had a nasty gouge in the bottom if the bilge where one of the bed plate wing bolts flexed all the way down to the bottom. No broken mounts, had no idea it happened until I pulled the engine and could clearly see where the bolt head hit. Went with CF after and have had zero problems.

Go for the rhaas mounts, they are top quality and are now made out of billet, with a fail safe design, so if they come apart your motor won't go flying around.

I've broken everything except RHAAS and 701 Industries (because I have not tried those yet). I've ripped inserts out.

Motor mounts are consumables so don't think of them as permanent parts that go with your setup for years.

OEM mounts give really nice motor dampening but tend to break easily if you're doing big aerials and are in a habit of not landing them right.
Monkey Grips/Wammer mounts/XFT mounts can be pretty stiff but they break in. In my experience, they last slightly longer than OEM mounts.
Cold Fusion mounts look great and come with pretty good manufacturer backing. They can be stiff at first but will break in, so that vibration does go down.
Rhaas: A buddy has them, no complaints so far.
701 Industries: look pretty good and I'll have some operating experience this summer as I will be testing them out in a light a/m hull with big motor.

If you don't do big aerials and/or big :):):)kups, then any motor mount will be sufficient.

I've tested couch mounts and they will flex enough to do this and not break!

And they were used couch mounts to top that! Hit bottom about 5 times that weekend and those mounts are still good to go.

Can I just bolt GP1200 mounts into my superjet?

Edit: I have 4 and my SJ mounts are all broken

Yes but no shims and tighten them while pushing them to the outside of hull to lower motor a bit. I drill out the two mounting holes a tad to be able to lower motor enough.

you may need to deck the bottom of the couch mounts 1mm, or you can "slot" the holes to allow you to shift the mount. I would go with decking them.

I dont understand how the coupler cover got shoved into the ebox! lol thats crazy.

To the op: I have had great luck with Rhaas Motor mounts. I put them in a Rickter XFS i build and so far my buddy has done about 200 failed backflip attempts and they are still holding up.
