Other best thing to use to bound fiberglass to metal

any help would be appreciated, have some left over fiberglass and carbon fiber materials and my yj needs some reinforcing :mischievous:

figure i could use the stuff i have lying around to reinforce the floor and rhino line over the top, thanks in advance

Remove as much of the rust as possible And creat a surface to lay up on, make sure what's left is well scuffed for good adhesion. Your set as far as materials, what resin are you using? Epoxy? Poly?
Both will bond just fine to metal if your worried about it popping loose after you can throw a stainless rivet or two through it the ensure it stays in place. Otherwise you can coat right over the glass with the rhino liner. I'd make it nice n thick depending on how big the patch is.

epoxy is superior by a lot over all polyesters in every regard!
uscomposites is fine for most uses but for pretty much the same price you can get a much easier to use resin that is of much greater quality from ResinResearch.NET.
