We cut flightplan Dan's back to the steering pivot.Made the cut 5 1/2 in. wide.Gonna find how good this week or weekend.Gonna ride the secret spot. The blade I used was a 24 teeth per inch bi-metal blade took all of about 5 mins. to cut also cut a spare plate for my x-2.
If you haven't already cut your plate, I have a 7" angle grinder to cut it flush and then I used an air die grinder to cut the curves. I think a jigsaw with a metal bit would be better for the curve though. If nothing else, the jigsaw would be much quieter and cleaner.
