Best trim set up

I have ridden CATS trim, thrust trim and Xscream trim and the Xscream is by far and away the best. Not the brand new system they have but the older one. Have not ridden RRP so can't comment there.

Lee is back to using coupler style XS.
its hard to beat the performance of the old style XS. Just takes some adjustment and maintenance.

Old system is great. Tough to keep the reduction nozzles together when only using rear bolts.

Yeah but i never really thoguht the O-ring pump was a genius idea. Most DVX cracked the pump area partially due to this pump setup and the exit nozzle cracked :)
4 bolt mounting for me thanks :)

once you get the xmetal trim with the bpipe coupler dialed in, its bullet proof. I use the riva metal 155 turn nozzle. I used jb weld on that to tighten up the clearances and get even less pressure loss. I use a very thick 4" non slippery silicone hose. not your average b pipe junk. I used to use vasaline on it once in a while but I haven't lubed it in about 3 years and it never screws up. you gotta use the right size high torque clamp and it has to be adjusted just right. I actually made my own trim ring out of 4" aluminumized muffler tubing and have that on a different boat. it doesn't need all those fancy contours on the side opposite the bpipe coupler, like the xmetal ones have.

What do you guys thinks is the best way to go, I have old Blowsion set up, big lever hard pull, looking for something better
I had one of those trims on my first rickter. I made a wheel out of Delrin and turned it into an easy pull. that didn't solve the problem of it being the leakiest system out there, but you don't need that lame ass blowsion dirt bike clutch lever to pull it. I did post a pic years ago and its on here someplace

I have cracked an OEM reinforced reduction nozzle on a 4 bolt mounted skat. Nothing new, nozzles break. Spend $1000 on a trick trim system to prevent broken nozzles, and the hinge points wear out. Cant win lol

And the nozzle still breaks with enough power

P&P has something in the works that should solve most of the issues. It should be shipping in 3-4 weeks.

The P&P “Raptor” trim system has a billet ring, billet steering nozzle, pressed in bushings, custom flow seal yielding 100% turning efficiency with no binding on steering, and no blowouts.

This is a no compromise, competition type system, made to solve all the current issues, and have the best fit, performance, and durability on the market. It was designed as a solution for issues we were seeing, not to simply have a product to sell (that’s not my thing........ There are plenty of nice parts on the market ;). We only take the time to make something if we feel there’s a better solution that no one is addressing........).

This unit/design was tested at Daytona this year for over a week of hard riding, as an idea/solution for some in house builds. It was pulled down, measured, inspected, and evaluated immediately returning from Daytona. Everything checked out great, with no major changes needed.

It wasn’t “released” or marketed at Daytona, it was just R&D for us in warm water :). However, the response was overwhelming. Almost everyone that saw it or rode it wanted one. It took us by surprise, but now we are full steam ahead on production. Stay tuned for more info as we get closer. New web store with available options will be up soon!

Its still based around an OEM exit at the moment, but with proper reinforcement/install we are getting a season or two out of them without issues, even on oring pumps with 1200s ;). We have a few extra tips as well that we are testing with great results so far.

Plus more degree of trim than anyone out there

Look out for the release and for it to be on most competition skis this year.

Phil isn't that the trim setup torrent had on display at tona?

If so, that looks beast! Good for flat water. I think the surf version is next year. The flatwater tolerances are too tight for sand. The blowby was completely suppressed!!
