Best vacuum bagging kit??

Looking to get into vacuum bagging. Will mostly be doing inserts, reinforcements, and repairs.

Does anyone know of a kit with everything I would need that's good for a beginner? Also if anyone knows of some good information or videos. It would be great if the video was using the same kit. I have a loose grasp on what im doing and have watched many videos already. Just need to find a good system or a parts list to start learning with.

That looks like it includes every thing and the pump can pull 4 CFM. From everything I've read some where between 3-5 CFM is what im looking for in a pump. 600$ seems to be the cheapest complete kit so far.

Thanks for the advice when I do get it I'll try and post some pictures or a review of my first few times using it.

I bought the medium kit. Works great and I have a ton of material to have for a ling time. My buddy has a very good vac pump like 12 cfm since he's in hvac.
If you need a pump I'd personally spend the extra money and go for the highest cfm you can afford.

Probably smarter to get a used well made unit off eBay or something for the vacuum pump from an American company like devilbiss or something you’ve heard of, rather than pay the same or more for an import unit that may break in a year. Granted they’re not very complicated, but I’ve had 50-60yr old compressors that just flat out kick any new imports ass in every way (especially noise) and they can be had cheaper and still have more life in them than the import started out with.

Any pumps you would reccomend? I suppose I could buy the pump and materials separate if that's cost effective and also a better pump.

Continuous duity? Would that mean I leave the pump active during the entire curing process? From the information I've gathered I was planning on laying up the material, pulling the vacuum, then clamping off the hose to seal vacuum until it cures.

i had a project where i needed it to stay on until cured since there was a leak i was unable to seal, and would lose vac after 10 min. the nice pump saved me.

So you would just leave the pump on for the full curing process so about 24 hours in cooler tempatures? That would definitely change what pump I would get.

This is all very helpful advice.
