Freestyle Best way for checking engine temp?

Just looking to see what people think is the best way to check engine temp.I have dual cooling and think im running a bit cold.The water from both pissers is only lukewarm when I hold my hand under them.

Why and what pipe do you have?

Best way to check engine temp would be to use a thermometer in the cooling bypass line.

It would be nice to ski somewhere warm for once. Im running B pipe,head with 37cc domes,V force reeds,AM air filters. Sounds like its fairly ok then, Thanks for all the info.
