If its corrosion the best way to remove it to to media blast it. I have a small hand held media blaster and I use just regular baking soda.
Blaster may be cheap, but having a compressor that can actually keep up with it is another story.http://www.harborfreight.com/portable-abrasive-blaster-kit-37025.html
Is this really all a Media blaster is. Seems silly cheap and I'd use it quite abit. What do you have.
Sorry to derail but for this price it might be worth looking into
Thanks, I have a small 2 gal husky compressor with max 100psi....not sure that would work??
Thanks, but I dont have a media blaster...anyone know where a good, small hand held is at? Anyone have an idea how much a shop would charge to sandblast then powder coat it?
Hey, I have a pressure washer, had not thought about that....powder coat wont last...is painting better or just leaving bare aluminum?
It's a waveraider. Why bother?Crusty rides plates work better, just run it.
