For quite a bit less than a Krash you can have a badass ski for your flat water backyard.
You'll need a couple other things but that would be a great baseline for what you want (flips and rolls)

That was my first ski! I paid $2500 for a built 92 SN with a piped 701 and rode it for 7 seasons before it ate a reed. To this day it has been the best bang for the buck out of all my skis.

I did the exact opposite. My 1st ski was an $800 650sx that kept breaking. When the motor let go, I picked up the X2 for a donor, but built the X2 because I was trying to convince a friend to get into the sport. I listened to all the people who said I had to modify everything and I ended up missing years of riding. Now that friend has an X2 setup exactly like mine was when this all started, using some of my old parts actually, and I wish I had what he has now.

Best thing I ever did in the sport was buy a superjet and stick stickly to bolt-on options. It's actually why my turf is falling off. I'm hesitant to make the first cut for my foot holds because it means the Superjet will be unavailable until the job is done. I feel so strongly about my superjet rule that I've considered buying a different hull rather than allowing mine to not be water ready for any amount of time.

My first personal standup was a built to the nuts race superjet. Total loss, "custom cut pistons," etc. Thing had everything done to it, and everything was wrong with it. I spent 4-5 hours wrenching for every hour I was on the water. Thing was a complete nightmare. Fortunately I had ridden working stand-ups in the past and knew i loved it, and a local guy took me under his wing and taught me how to work on the damn things. Sucked wasting a summer working on that POS, but the knowledge and skills I learned have kept me riding steady for the last 7 years. Worth it in the long run.

Awesome guys! Thank you for the feedback. Sounds like I should have a good group in this area. Now just need to get enough posts to PM :)

You can go to the site info sub forum and make a few posts there in the thread about needing enough posts to PM. You are at 5 but I can't remember if it was raised to 10.
