Best way to spray?

Installing my tnt v2 lay down pipe with sprayer on the manifold. And wonder if better to have the half moon sprayer with a wider spray pattern or a straight shot of water from an npt fitting? Pics where taken without the 120 jet in the sprayers.

watcon/coffman sprayer. Any benefit to the direction of the spray; Across manifold vs Pointed toward chamber?

Straight shot (stream will be smaller with the 120 jet)

Spray with the direction of exhaust flow.

An added note, looks like your manifold is as it has come from TnT. These manifolds really benefit from being ported!
Give me a little bit, ill post some before and after pics and ill show you what I'm referring to

Thank you for the reply JR! Spray bar it is.

I cleaned up those humps or casting flaws or whatever that bulge is on the cylinder side. And now in the polishing stage. Deff appreacite the opportunity to see your secrets! :)

Use a spray bar pointed directly with the direction of the exhaust flow.

I used Dremel with a 80 then 120 flapper on the whole manifold before moving to the Mothers. It was a few hours work but shines nice now. 20190320_215636.jpg20190320_215645.jpg20190320_222249.jpg
Be sure you align the chamber to the manifold and give it proper support so it doesn't move around and crack.

Secrets?? Hmmm? Ok! Lol

Here s the promised porting pics. As you can see from the before and after pics, all the original machining and casting ridges are gone. Flow patterns are clean and consistent. I dont bring final finish to a mirror polish like Headshock presented ( Nice work by the way) I find a textured finish Works very well for smooth airflow and constantly changing air speeds, as in freeride, where the polished finish, is a high rpm racer trick.

Final two photos are of a RRP manifold I just completed for a client. This manifold is JetHot Ceramic coated.
Bling factor is very obvious. Function is the key!

Enjoy!
