What year would you guys recommend for me? Is there a year where the haul was lighter then other years? Again I've got a budget so no 2013's for me.

The superjets didnt change from 1996-2007. i would imagine you could find one of these in your budget if you are patient. most people prefer this body style.

Is your budget after or before shipping costs? for 3 grand you can find something really nice.

I'd look at 701 SN superjets. The key mods you'd like to find is one with a prop and pipe. And footholds if you don't feel like dealing with installing them (its not that bad at all)

I heard that if you take a kiteboarding gear bag and put " golf " on it, the airport let's it on the plane for free. I wonder if that would work for a ski in a bag? Haha

Break it down to 2 packages, one for engine and another for pump and electronics which should ship for under $100 each and then zip up the rest in a sturdy bag with rollers on one end. I say it's worth a shot, lol.
