Using stock carbs is a good thing, but what about electronics? Can I get by with the stock stuff for a while? I know I won't get the most out of the motor, but the budget prevents doing it all at once and I would really like to get into a bigger motor.

Since none of the experts answered this query, here's my observation: you'll be just fine with stock ignition on a larger engine. Someday you might wish to upgrade to an enhancer or even a programmable ignition with light flywheel for a rather spectacular acceleration gain.

Thanks for the question baxt3r and reply augustaf. In a crowded a/m freestyle motor market, we try to stand out as the value leader by offering great prices, service, and performance. Most of our BB motors are run with the oem 38 carbs, that is what I run with my setup and love the low price, great power, and fuel economy. Many are also running stock electronics including stock CDI with good performance, but we recommend a lightened stock flywheel and a/m CDI for best results.

Also, this BB beast is in stock and RTS = ready to ship!
