Freestyle Big Bore Opinions Please

Thanks for all the input guys. There are alot of options out there and even though I've been riding JetSkiis for 20 years this freestyle A.M. experience can be alot to take in. I was only really interested in stock stroke motors in the first place to avoid buying a new crank and the simple fact that they are less expensive. Most of these motor options mentioned are $4000 plus and for my budget that means I'm possibly cutting corners later on important parts such as pump and carbs. This PHP 780 with 84mm bore puts it close to 800cc and it comes with a PHP billet 4mil crank all for $2450!! Who knows....this Chan may end up with MSD TL and a PFP before its over.

I had a jetworks 760 with 62t cases in emeq8 sky with dual 44's b pipe on a atp epic when i compare it to my php 760 on 61x cases on riva red, single 44 on msd enhancer in B1. The B1 has makes alot power. Im not trying to turn this into a debate, but there was a reason why i switched from art to PHP

Can the powermouse run on dual 38's or must you upgrade to something larger? Anyone know what php recommends?

PHP is a great option and I wouldn't try to deter you from that choice either but since you came here looking for options I have to say another option is starting with the TPE964...if you ever felt the need you could upgrade to a 4mil stroker crank down the road using your same cylinder/cases. I don't believe you will find another ss engine that makes the same or more power using similar setups

The porting is exactly the same for a non stroker and stroker??

Yes, porting is totally different between our SS760 and +4mmPowermouse 780-800. 48's, TL, PF and you have a cheap monster on your hands. That $2450 was an intro offer though. It's going up to $2800 after Jan 1st... still a good deal for the amount of power this setup makes.
