Just want to say thanks to Nick for putting on one hell of a Freeride!!!! Cant wait for next year!!
x2- The weather, especially Sunday was great. Never had to fire up the heaters even though we hauled down 4 of them and 5 full bottles of propane. But that's a good thing!great job with all the events.. but you did an even better job with the weather and surf! more of the same next year! haha!
Cars/trucks were parked much closer together this year (look at last years pics). Yet somehow they went further down the beach! Attendance was awesome.
I think it was canceled for safety reasons. There was no way to get the word to other riders to keep that area clear...w/o buoys etc... I wanted to be in it but couldn't find Dan (the only couch rider) who was sponsoring that event.killer job Nick. Seems like everything ran smoothly. I had a blast.
one question though, was there a cherry buster this year or did the people who signed up punk out again?
I think I was packing up my trailer when it was supposed to go on.

And I understand the concern...you get a bunch of us who have never flipped trying to get a wave mixed in with all of the other freeriders, bad recipe.
next year I will figure out a better plan for getting riders out of the way of the exhibition area... any ideas will be appreciated
I'm not complaining either. But, hopefully, I won't be qualified to enter next year!we will have it next year... just had so much happening..

i wasn't complaining just wondering if it went on or not.
i can see the safety issue as it was hard enough to get people out of the way for the race/sickest trick comps.

buoys marking the exhibition area and a "course marshal" on a couch to keep other riders out of the area during an exhibition?
