I think I was packing up my trailer when it was supposed to go on.

Cars/trucks were parked much closer together this year (look at last years pics). Yet somehow they went further down the beach! Attendance was awesome.

x2- The weather, especially Sunday was great. Never had to fire up the heaters even though we hauled down 4 of them and 5 full bottles of propane. But that's a good thing!
That offshore wind made Sunday's faces nice even tough it was knockin' it down later in the day.
You take what you get; and we got it pretty good this year!
I was hoping to bust my cherry Sunday.

I think it was canceled for safety reasons. There was no way to get the word to other riders to keep that area clear...w/o buoys etc... I wanted to be in it but couldn't find Dan (the only couch rider) who was sponsoring that event.

And I understand the concern...you get a bunch of us who have never flipped trying to get a wave mixed in with all of the other freeriders, bad recipe.

that's what I was thinking too. maybe he could wave a flag like a mad man to get people's attention while on the water.
