I really want to see a front flip some day. It would have to be off of a huge surf wave and down trim. Get to the lip, nail the downwards trim to start the rotation off the top, then lean the hell forward Haha

Will never happen. You need a ton of snap. I can do it on a BMX bike, and that's 25 lbs. Easiest off a mellow lip that will throw you far not necessarily high.

Look what they used at Pastrana land on the top of the lip for MX. They can at least hit the rear brakes.

Same with a BMX, you're literally hitting the rear brakes and snapping your feet into your a s s.

One of my buddies in Alaska who's a big fan of Seadoo Spark/Alumaski (aka wasting his money on couches) goes pretty hard behind the fast ferry.

This is the boat he's chasing. We don't have roads connecting towns where I'm from so we use ferries. This ship is 235 feet long and goes 32 knots

Just realized...this catamaran's V-wake would be epic to hit and die on

For the past 3 years we have a kickass event on Lake Lewisville called Bob's Wake Fest for Bob's bday.

His parents have a beautiful yacht called the "PharmaSea" and they throw wakes for us for a couple of hours, and throw out gatoraide during breaks inbetween sessions. Its pretty special.

Well last year they got another big boat that stays in the same slip, and they put together a Yacht V-wake.

It sounds awesome.... And it was, but you quickly realize how important it is for the driver of each boat to do be consistent. And I think thats harder when you're piloting a 40'+ yacht.

The waves were MASSIVE. I'm talking 8-10' of difference from trough to peak at times. But the V-wake was never uniform very long. The drivers struggled with maintaining the exact same speed, and distance apart. It was epic, and everyone loved it. I'd like to try it again, maybe get the drivers to sync up better. But you have to figure $1k in fuel was spent that day between the two boats. So we just enjoy it while it lasts.

I took photos of the action. No record setting heights, but the potential was certainly there. On a side not, a guy flipped a 650sx...

This set gives you an idea of the size, on the right you can see the peak you get in the middle sometimes, that peak is the size of a small wake board boat, you can see the size of it compared to the rider (thats Bob), he babied it off that peak and still earned air miles.
