Bildge pump help

Hows it going guys.

My superjet build and almost done. It came with 2 pumps epoxyed in the. I left the base plates in there and painted over them. So im looking ahead and realized one of the base plates is missing 2 of the 4 tabs that hold the pump in. You know how u out the bildge in and twist it. So yea how can i fix this prob without having to hank the base plate out. Also I wanna do something else to the one that doesnt have anything wrong with it becayse I dont trust it to stay down when im jumping waves and stuff.

Thanks

Dan

Those are the old Attwood V500 bilges. I don't even know if they sell them anymore & I believe they don't. I had one snap out on me a couple years back. I'm running the new Attwood tsunami T500 bilge now & haven't had that problem. Just stuff getting in them & burning up the motor. I'm going to try a prefilter on it this weekend for the first time.

Most people swear by Rule bilge pumps around here.

use a rule 1100gph auto wrap turf around it and it will wedge in between the gas tank and the front cover. no gluing and no broken tabs plus its easy to get out if you need to a and it moves a lot of water.
