Gauging interest , for those who dont want to drop the coin on a aftermarket pole

These are Billet RN / FX-1 replacement handle pole bases.
They have an extended 2 inch lip to allow for more support and for a second row of rivets, they are slightly heavier than stock but superior in strength
they accept oem style pole springs and have the detent for the pole keeper

I will make these if there is enough serious interest

they will be $259 Shipped in the 48 contiguous States

pictured is the prototype may be some differences in the production version

awesome work, now instead of the pocket for the pole make some openings for 2 tubes to make a similar pole to a rickroy pole.

or use the same base and make an insert for those poles using the same base bracket.

nice work though, was that done on a 3 axis or 4?

Already got that programed but still have to make the top piece
these are to fix broken oem poles

this was done on a 3 axis but production will run on one of the DMG 5 axis machines

Cool idea, Looks great!

Could you make a turn plate that utilizes the stock bushings (no UMI bearing crap), Like what JeepMark was building.... he sold his last one, and says he is done.

you mean these ??
theyll finish up in a week or so
-1.75 , oem bushings , stainless steel post and provisions to mount an eyelet for a limiting strap wont work with straight bars though
also have bullet proof stainless steel clamping lock nuts that wont loosen

thats awesome, break the stock base, get the billet base. after that you will either break the top or the pole its self, just buy the insert 2 tubes and the top piece.

sounds like a great system to me.

Schweet! I will keep an eye out... 4 degree bars work for me.

Any idea on price yet? Could you make it to where it is even shorter, like -3"?
