If the pole is always up, how do you reach it when you get on the ski in deep water? I have never had a pole spring that was that strong.

Limiting rope?.....

You got to have one of those for big air.
It does stay up, specially when first installed....the ski looks like is on Viagra.....but you can tame the spring by forcing it down. You can use a sand bag or a bungee cord or whatever you want. Just make sure you keep it down when storing your ski in the garage.
Also it doesn't happen overnight but eventually the spring will give in some.....

It's not very hard to pull the pole back down in the water, just tip it a little and grab the bars. It's not hard to overcome, just makes the pole weightless. But a limiting rope is HIGHLY recommended with this bracket, because there are no end stops.

Ok, as soon as I can find a RN pole that isnt blue I will order one of these. I have a RN pole on my other square on the stock bracket, and it was a pain relocating the hood hooks. I may drill a hole in the bracket to insert an allen wrench to hold the pole up.

When I first started messing with it, I was going to transfer the SN Pole Latch over, but after putting the blowsion spring on there, I decided not to even worry about it. The pole just stands up all the way. There is plenty of meat on the bracket to drill through like you say if you want to though.

Paint it....use rattle cans.
There is a technique though....real small layers and do 3 or 4.
The first layer you want to be able to see the blue or shades of it.
Wait until fully dry in between layers, perhaps 24 hrs if not in a hurry.
I have done it.....looks good.

DOOOOOOONE !!!!
I was able to finally put the bracket and the RN pole. OMFG !!!! putting the Blowsion spring was a PITA. I spent about one hour on my own and it was clear that I was not going to get it done by myself.

Chad, if you are reading this....THANKS BUD! 2 guys and it took us about 1 hour but we finally got it in.

The bracket is extremely well made and it was really easy to swap the pole. As stated earlier, the bracket, pole and spring is ALL you need, everything else and I do mean EVERYTHING bolts right on.

Here are some pictures. Thanks again FyrHazard

Nice! Thanks for posting pics Benny! That's a nice square you have there. Did you put the bracket on the pole before the ski or vice-versa?

I put the bracket on the ski first, then the pole.

Benny, is that as high as your pole goes?

show me a pic hos high it goes w that bracket, just curious

Justin

No, it goes higher than that but not as high as the stock one. The tip of the pole rubs against the Bracket a bit. I am also running a limited rope, as I always do, and that always makes the pole sit lower anyways.

Seriously, I need to go ride this baby....

I guess if I want it to higher, as in straight up high, I will have to cut the pole bracket a bit like in this pic (Not mine) which is not a big deal. Actually I don't even think you need to cut it, just grind off some of it.

p.s: Sorry, at work right now, will post a pic with the pole extended full when I get home.
