what do you think about the hood ?

i told him to make them thick, so i could flush sand the part, to make the part look like one piece. you must weld.

hood on ski, still not finished, few more layers, then a hell of alot of sanding

He usually puts breathers just above the tray like an A/M hood.

I'll post pics tonight got a cool idea for that, usually I glass in down the rear of the hood and open up just above the hood seal

started workin on the tray today, pics kinda suck but you get the idea. widened the deck about 4-5", poured 4lbs foam into forms on the side walls and started shaping, im pretty happy how the first side turned out. i made a 1/4 lip on top of the side wall so you wont see a raw edge on the turf, also foamed the footholds in, to help make the flow a little better, instead of cutting them in afterwards. whatcha think?

I love the gunwhales. I have been wanting to do my SN with the same kawi-design gunwhales, but was apprehensive due to having that "cut-edge" showing on the turf. Nice work. Keep the pics coming. How tall is that edge?

I left about 3/8- 1/2 in lip on the top of the gunwhales I figured it might shrink a bit when I glass it but the turf should not have a raw edge showing. Use 4 LBS foam it shapes really nice with no worry of chunks breakin off,

got both gunwhales sanded out, and put some long and strong on them, to smooth it out a little better. hows it lookin?

Sick dude ya I got a Sn hull here I am workin on and like the hood. really would like to know more about the air intake and how engine clearance is? is that a problem?

clearance isnt an issue,the center channel is flush with the old liner position, as far as the inake, thats a suprise, ill have pics tomorrow night, or friday morning, but basically the hood will resemble a wdk lowered rn hood.
