you gotta fold it in half the long way kinda, then slip the loop through...then use a screwdriver to pull it through

They get easier the more you use them. Sounds like he may have an older Kawasaki. They had some really small Bow Eyes at one point.

Superjet, big bow eyes, good quality but thought they would be easier to get through. Zack Bright and I couldn't get them through. Will try with a screwdriver
