I have a set of new BlackJack 44mm on a 4mil stroker setup.

Are any of you guys running these carbs??

I am having a lot of trouble getting them to run clean at lower rpms. Ive gone through every possible issue outside of the carbs and cant seem to figure out what is going on.

They run perfect on the high end and as long as I keep the rpms up they are clean. I have a relatively fast idle set (to try and keep them from loading up).

They dont hesitate or feel loaded up but they just run sloppy from idle . If I land anything pump first it will usually just shut the motor down. Idling out of the harbor it sounds lousy. Ive replaced everything from coils and enhancers to plugs everytime i ride.

Anyone have any input here. I have spoke with Art at Jetworks on many occasions but without him here its difficult. Im wondering if this is just how these carbs are meant to run.

Thanks in advance.

Heres a picture of what my carbs look like after i run it.

I wouldnt call him for any info other than.. when will he have time to go through them and check them out.. I have ran a few sets on a number of skis and he can hit them pretty darn close.. ohhh mine dont run funny on bottom end or stall.. only brap everytime. AFTER I ran the fuel lines direct (dual lines) and skiped the fuel selector... Never had I had to do that before even on a full blow superstock, with great snap, turning 7600 RPM.. these were the 1st set I ever had to do that on..
