I know i could just call art and find out, but i don't have the money in hand right now and i don't want to waste the mans time by not being able to even order yet, but does anyone know about how much a pair of 44's would be?

do the blackjack carbs come with t-handled adjuster?

Directly from Art the carbs should be right around $330 each.

But as others have stated... call Art... He won't care if you call to get prices...

Infact other people work there also. They can give you a price quote.

I ordered a set of new 44's last week. I think he quoted me 620 for the set. Minus throttle wheel and linkage.

My buddy got a set of 44's and he paid 319.00 a piece jetted and that was just this March. They hit hard and were super easy to dial in. I actually ended up with the screws right were Art set them.
44's should be fine for almost anything other than something large in cc like over 800 cc. Art says that the 44 Blackjacks hit harder and flow more air than a taperbored 46 mm Mikuni. Based on what I have seen I tend to believe him.

I just called Art on Experimental's behalf (he's working for $ to pay for a couple of carbies ha ha). I got to Art on the first call and talked to him extensively about our situation. Great guy - whoever said that he'll talk your ears off was very correct. Wealth of knowledge there, so glad I contacted him.

The guy knows his stuff! Better schedule some extra time in your day for the call.

I know he is big on the R&D Dominator manifold with the removeable top plate and the spacer w/M16 blocks and his reed petals. I honestly don't know his opinion on a oem manifold because I never asked. I honestly went with the R&D because I assumed I would have the carbs off and on 111 times getting them dialed in and well........... I have not had the top plate/carbs off since I installed them new. LOL We all know what 'assume' stands for.

im running 44mm bjs on a std oem manifold with the crossover filled, i told art wat my setup is and he jetted it perfectly, i didnt even need to touch the screws.
my motor is a 10mm 1000cc ada with total loss running race gas.
when art sugested to run 44s with this setup i was i bit suprised, then he assured me that for bottom end punch they woul hit harder than the 46.
as everyone says hes great to deal with and knows his stuff. for him to build me a set of carbs for a motor he knew nothing about he got it spot on!
i would never run anything else.
